Xiang's fascinator for Derby Day~

Finally got the photos from my cousin/niece/extended family coz the connection is too complicated... my great great grandfather is brothers of her great great great grandfather... i think that is how the relations go.

This is the fascinator i made for her. And by far the simplest i've made. =D

Rhian's B'day Dinner.

6th Nov is rhian's birthday and we were all invited to dinner at Wagamama, which is a famous japanese restaurant in the UK. Open its 1st branch in Melbourne at St Kilda, taking over "My Restaurant Rules" Melbourne restaurant's site after Melbourne lost it to Perth. After having almost over 4 times of delivery of wagamama, I finally sat in the restaurant for Rhian's B'Day! Happy Birthday girl~ And the photos are below~

Me only slept 4 hours the night before is looking pretty damn good i would think... stayed up to make the beautiful facsinators on both Rhian's and my head. Below are the 4 angles of how the fascinators look.

Fun~ 

Little events that happened at the races. Mostly involving Champagne... =p Even when our feet are painful from the shoes, they indulge themselves with champagne too~ hehehe... By the end of the day, while Rhian's head piece stayed in place... mine has changed position on my head endless time... should have made myself someclips like those i did for Rhian to secure it more to my head... =S

Met up with Wai who was there coz her company - the commonwealth bank, had a marque n therefore she had free drinks and free entry! =S But its fine... Rhian, Chris n I will do just fine! ;P We then head to Transport!

The three of us; me having a change of mind and decided to make my twirls stick to the end of the top hat instead of having it hanging; whisky & coke - just classic; and the late sunset of summer~

Freedom!

Freedom is having my final final final MBIT exam!!!! heheheh... thou working at leghorn but its brainless work anyway so i dun mind... thou the owner is so crazy to want all the stock to be put out on the floor and she just keep bringing in MORE stock! *gulp!*

But its freedom... work n play n work n play... but was too tired to keep up with the "play" bit... slept 4 hours the night before the exam... then after the exam made rhian's n my fascinator to get us prepared for Crown Oaks Day~ and therefore slept again only 4 hours the night b4 Crown Oaks. :| But had great fun with rhian n chris there~ Its nice how the three of us turn from being group mates to going out mates now~ ;P A big bottle of champaign cost only $30 at the races. we shared the bottle after rhian n i had a small bottle of wine to start off with and chris had beer. left flemmington race course at bout 4+pm and head to "transport" at federation square. hehheeheh... more drinks! Went home at 9pm :( as i had work the next day~.

THe next day... after work... had a quick dinner went to flinders lane to start our pub crawl. or bar hop as i would like to call it~ :P More drinks yet!

Saturday... rest for the afternoon while watching ching ee get burn in the sun at the gardens as my balcony overlooks the shrine. Rhian n I join her, richard n monster at the gardens at bout 5pm to enjoy the sun~ (for those who do not know, the sun sets at 8+++ these days) then went home and then head off to dinner with raf's mum. MOre drinks!

Sunday~ Rhian's B'DAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY~ Dinner at Wagamama... then head over to crown to DRINK! yes... again~~~ endless Chambord and limonade it almost seems. Left early at 1am+ coz i had to work today~ :S

As Rhian says... while others need to detox from alcohol, we need to re-tox. ;P
