Midnight Thrills~ Birthday Thrills~

This actually started at 9.30pm when i was on the phone with mum, and Ching Ee and Karen rang the intercom... They started singing happy birthday song while i hurrily tell them "i'm on the phone with my MUM!"... and all i heard was oopz... blah blah blah... next thing i know they came into the apartment put something down and left...

I was on the phone for another 15minutes with mum. Put down the phone. Went to the door and saw that they have left me a box of soya chicken on a bed of noodles with another round box filled with soup! Awww... i had my dinner of instant noodles already but still stuffed my face with half a box of noodles and chicken... ONLY thing is... and they did not warn me... that the soup is SO SALTY! Apparently we were all victims of that soup. Each of us took a soup spoon full and stuff it in our mouth and swallow it to realise it was a bad choice!

Time pass slowly... But I was sitting in front of my comp half reading my notes and companied by RHian in our usual little chats... she has been so sweet the whole night on MSN giving me 24 MSN cakes lighted with 3 candles each making me 72 yrs old... n then MSN flowers, MSN presents etc...

Anywayz, at 11.45 i decided to take my shower n wanted to head to bed... when i came out of the shower (which was almost 12am), there was a knock on my room door and as it open there was Ching Ee and Karen with a plate of 3 candles and "frosted" mooncake in its container, while mashi and monster rush into my room (the usual monster mashi chase). Monster had a gorgeous cream ribbon around the neck! And, apparently the candles distinguished and karen and ching ee hurrily light them up again... hehehe... And by the way, my birthday falls on mooncake festival this year I think. ;)

After i made my wish and blew out the candles. Karen said they purposely doll up monster and mashi has a present for me too! hahahah... by then mashi was already hiding under my table and i could not see her properly, so they called her out and out she came having a maroon ribbon tied around her body with a card on her!!!!! AND THE RIBBON WAS AT HER HIPS!!! That poor little thing! But it was a good laugh...

I went out to cut my mooncake while ching ee told me richard have a present for me too. Richard sneakily went into his room and took out a bunch of roses in dark vermilion red colour... They are so uniquely pretty! Which reminds me the purple tulips Alex gave me on Saturday are blooming beautifully. The pollen is a fresh lime green! and there are shade of blue at the bottom. I'm in love with them! And now... i'm in love with both bunches of flowers I'm getting for my birthday~ =D The classic unique coloured rose and the oh so elegant tulips~ What a combination... maybe i should put them together????? hhhmmm... nah... tulip is in the living room it can stay there... the roses are sitting in my room now so it will remain there...

Anywayz, each of us had a small slice of mooncake except for ching ee as she dun eat mooncakes, and of coz they dogs dun get to eat it. The card mashi was carrying is so adorable. It has two beagles on the cover and speaks "happy birthday from both of us". And i swear one suits ching ee and the other Karen! You gotta see it to agree!

After Ching Ee, Karen and Mashi left I started arranging my roses. I even gave my fishes and extra meal of the day coz its my birthday~ THEN, i took out my tray of tiramisu! HEHEHEHE... it was marvellous... I then took photos of the half eaten noodels with mooncake with the tiramisu, the roses, my fishes, a cover up sleeping monster and the tulips too. After that i took a fork and started gobbling down the tiramisu! I gobbled till i cant eat anymore and i wrap the rest up and put it back in the fridge~ There are still heaps for Richard to eat as he has been complaining he didnt get to eat much of it. The tiramisu has set well and the sponge is so juicy~ it was fantastic! Marvellous~ Wooooo... Yummy...

And that is what I call Midnight thrills~ The sun is shinning again~ =D
